CASA of the River Region and Goodwill Industries Partner to Strengthen Support for Children and Families

CASA of the River Region is excited to announce a new partnership with Goodwill Industries, bringing additional resources to children and families across our seven-county service area.

Families involved in the child welfare system often face a variety of challenges as they work to create safe, stable homes for their children. They may need clothing for a growing child, household necessities, help finding employment, or other assistance along the way.

Strong community partnerships allow CASA to connect families with the help they may need to build greater stability while keeping our focus where it belongs: on the child.

CASA volunteers get to know the children they serve, understand their individual needs, and advocate for their best interests. Through this new partnership, eligible CASA families can receive Goodwill vouchers to use at stores throughout the River Region for clothing, household items, and other necessities.

For a family working to create a stable home, having these basic needs met can ease some of the practical challenges they face. Goodwill also offers a range of programs and services—including employment support, job training, housing assistance, and programs for young adults—that may be helpful to families we serve.
