ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (ACEs)

WHAT ARE ACEs?

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events that occur during childhood.  Many are preventable.

WHY ARE ACEs IMPORTANT?

ACEs have lasting, negative effects on health, well-being and opportunity for our CASA children.

WHY DOES CASA NEED VOLUNTEERS TO FILL OUT ACEs QUESTIONNAIRE FOR THEIR CASA CHILDREN?

CASA tracks this information for advocacy & grant purposes.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE QUESTIONNAIRE?

In Optima, click on your case. Near the "Contact Logs" tab, you will find "Wellbeing". You can complete the ACE's for each child on your case.

WHEN DO I COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE?

You must complete the form only once and within 3 months of beginning the case for every child on the the case.
