A September to Remember at CASA of the River Region

September was nothing short of extraordinary for CASA of the River Region. Thanks to our passionate supporters, volunteers, and community partners, we celebrated a month full of generosity, connection, and unforgettable moments—each one bringing us closer to our mission of giving every child a voice.

🌾 A Magical Evening in Mt. Washington

CASA was honored to be part of a truly special gathering at the Farm to Table Dinner in Mt. Washington. Set under the stars right in the heart of town, this event brought together neighbors, friends, and advocates for a night of great food and even greater purpose.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible CASA Board Member Debi Bass, the wonderful Jessica Thornton, and the talented Chef Arielle Duncan, along with the entire planning team who made the evening feel like pure magic. Their dedication and heart made the event not only beautiful, but meaningful. Proceeds of the event will help CASA as well as two other worthy causes- Raising Hope and Bullitt County Young Farmers.

💛 Give for Good Louisville: Goal Surpassed!

On September 18, you showed up in a big way during Give for Good Louisville! Thanks to 93 generous donors, we not only met but exceeded our $25,000 goal—raising more than $28,000 in just 24 hours. Your support directly fuels our ability to recruit, train, and support CASA volunteers who advocate for children experiencing abuse or neglect across our seven-county service region.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, or encouraged others to give—thank you. You are the reason we can keep doing this important work.

🎬 CASAblanca: At the Movies

We closed out the month with our signature event, CASAblanca: At the Movies—a night of fun, film, and fundraising that brought our community together in support of children in need. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration and impact.
