A Message from CASA of the River Region's Board of Directors

We are excited to announce that Tara Metts Brown is the new Interim Executive Director of CASA of the River Region. Tara has been serving children in the River Region footprint for over 20 years in roles with the Kentucky court system including Family Services Coordinator at the Administrative Office of the Courts, and as a Case Specialist at the Bullitt County Judicial Center where she developed a successful drug court program, Families Moving Beyond Abuse.

Tara also serves children in volunteer roles through the Spencer County PTO, youth ministry at Taylorsville Community Church, and most recently as board Secretary for our organization. We’re grateful for Tara’s leadership as we continue to provide quality volunteer advocacy for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
