CASA is always in need of office volunteers. Individuals interested in sharpening their office skills may volunteer as an administrative assistant. Time commitments vary depending on your schedule. CASA suggests 2-3 times a week for 4 hours per day. This is good for anyone currently in-between jobs or thinking about getting back into the workforce. Minimum commitment: 1 month.
BOARD & COMMITTEES:
CASA has a board of 16 members from all sectors of the community. Board members are responsible for oversight of the organization and fundraising. In addition to the Board, the following committees exist to assist the organization: Development, Finance, Human Resources, Nominating and Volunteer. Board members typically enter the organization by first serving on a committee. Individuals interested in board or committee members, contact Executive Director William Myers at email@example.com.
Do you have a way you would like to help CASA? Can you motivate others? At CASA, we strive to make sure that majority of our funding goes directly into serving abused and neglected. We need groundbreakers to lead independent projects that can raise awareness (host an information session), drive in-kind donations and increase volunteer sign-ups. You can get your school, church, friends and local community involved by planning a project that will help the most vulnerable citizens in on our community. For more information, contact Volunteer Coordinator Amanda Parmenter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
EVENTS & SEASONAL OPPORTUNITIES
CASA needs your help with special events! If you would like to volunteer with one of our special events let us know. Volunteers may act as setup help, greeters, photographers, social media promoters, etc. For more information, contact Development & Operations Manager Amabelle Camba at email@example.com.
