Hope's Closet

2018-09 September

Hope's Closet provides children's clothing & items free of charge to foster & adoptive Families in Kentuckiana. They are a resource many of temporary custodians can benefit. Custodians or foster parents can go to Hope's Closet and registers for services. Once registered, they can come in every 90 days to “shop” what's available. All items are free and it's a great way to supplement clothing for a growing child.

Started by Angela Bischoff and run with the help of Jen Mortenson, Hope's Closet relies entirely on donations and volunteers to provide foster and adoptive children with clothing and other necessities free of charge. Hope's Closet is located at 3936 Taylorsville Road next to Big Lots. They are open every Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
