How To Volunteer

If you’d like to apply to be a CASA volunteer, you can start by filling out this application (requires Adobe Reader) and mailing it to our office at 514 W. Liberty Street, Suite 139 Louisville, KY 40202. After you’ve submitted your application and your references have been approved, you will be asked to meet with us for an interview. Before you can begin as a CASA volunteer, we must also complete a criminal record check, as well as child abuse and adult protection registry checks.

Once you’ve been approved as a potential CASA volunteer, you must complete 30 hours of training, including a court visit with one of our Directors of Advocacy and a home visit, accompanied by an active CASA volunteer.
